Smart Grid Minimize

How we analyze and evaluate today’s impact and the future opportunities will largely determine the outcome of many energy innovations.  It is imperative that we give full consideration to all aspects of any innovation or application, what the costs are today, what the costs may look like as technology advances, how applications can be deployed most effectively, and how we can ultimately demonstrate best practices.
Alternative Energy
Measuring and evaluating various forms of alternative energy under varying circumstances and scenarios. Considerations will be given related to tax credits and incentives, rate structures, performance standards, etc. The development of these financial tools will assure that the evaluation is fair and equitable to all stakeholders.
Pricing/Rate Model
The development of rate and pricing models will allow the utility and consumer to consider how to best deploy and merge the benefits of the specific application. Consideration will be given at all levels; generation, delivery and end use
Energy Efficiency
Numerous opportunities exist for energy efficiency measures for residential and commercial consumers. Creating evaluation tools that allow both the utility and consumer to consider all variables that impact the utility and consumer will be important along with how technology performs under varying circumstances.
Consumer Behaviors
How consumers adopt, implement and utilize energy innovations will be a critical component to the success of any form of “smart energy.” Utilizing current and future case studies will allow for direct feedback and response on many of these areas. Smart Energy Source will develop an evaluation matrix to better understand important trends and behaviors.
