Future advances of MySource Meter will allow the utility to send price signals to the consumer providing the consumer alternatives as to when to run various appliances and at what price point.

Smart Energy Source is currently working on four case studies where individual appliances are being monitored and displayed on the MySource Meter. This technology is still evolving as protocols and meter data management systems are being developed. This case study provides a platform for advances within the MySource Meter application that will interface with new hardware.
